More and More Beautiful

Several weeks ago, I talked with an Austrain girl in the exhibition in school. I introduced to her the culture of red envelope and what we usually write on it. I asked her to make a wish and I wll write it for her in Chinese. After a while, she can't think of any good idea, so I started to give some suggestion words such as "more and more beautiful."

However, she and paul suddenly shocked by my words. I couldn't figure it out and seemed very confused. Paul told me that I am saying that she is ugly when I want to wish her that she can become more and more beautiful. The girl also agreed that, but she thought it's ok.

越來越漂亮， it's a good wish in Chinese, in my opinion. Maybe I should say it in Chinese instead of English next time^^
